- Nafisa Hashemi, 2015 PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® entrepreneur from Afghanistan started her company, Nafisa Hashemi Ltd., in 2012 to sell carpets made by Afghan women. Her family told her that she couldn’t open a business because she was a woman and she did not have the support of her husband. But she didn’t let that stop her!
- Bella Ntagugura, a 2015 PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® entrepreneur from Rwanda is the owner of Benta Consultancy, Ltd. Established in 2012 Bella has 15+ years of experience. She offers business consultancy to small and mid-size companies in both the private and public sector. Bella grew up in a refugee camp in Uganda as the fifth of eleven children. Through the support of her family and much perseverance, she graduated from Kampala International University with a Master’s Degree. To read more about our students click here
