With no choice but to leave Afghanistan, Fatema started her education and received her diploma in Iran. After the collapse of the Taliban, she returned to Afghanistan, where she found work as an accountant assistant. However, Fatema had bigger dreams, and she later began a new job at a private TV channel, learning about the media industry. While this was not culturally acceptable, she pursued that passion and took film-editing courses to expand her knowledge. Due to her persistence, Fatema has been able to create her own films, work with other directors, and join the Asian Film Academy.
Moreover, Fatema began finance classes at the university, where she began her accounting services company with a classmate. This is her current business endeavor, and she is aspiring to learn more about the modern methods of accounting.
