3 Ways PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® Resembles Thanksgiving:

Thanks1
1. Friendship
Thanksgiving is a time for family and friends to reconnect with one another and share their respective experiences from the past year. PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® brings together women business owners from Rwanda and Afghanistan with American entrepreneurs who forge lifelong bonds through the mentorship program.

2. Food/Fashion
Thanksgiving should be recognized as National Binge Day, who wants to count calories on this day, right? There is something magical about sharing a bountiful meal with the people who care most about you. And it’s all the more decadent to step out and join the holiday shopping mania after having that last slice of pumpkin pie. The same goes for our Rwandan and Afghan sisters. The moment they touch down on US soil, not only are they eager to learn from their American mentors but they relish the opportunity to share home-style recipes and a day at the mall — the ultimate female bonding experience. (And many a male has joined in the fun!)

3. Unforgettable Moments
Thanksgiving is an annual reminder of those unforgettable moments in our lives. This goes without saying, any PTB moment can be an unforgettable moment. PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS®, whether Leadership Development in the US or in-country training in Rwanda and Afghanistan, provides a special opportunity for unforgettable moments. These unforgettable moments include mentoring, hosting, and simply participating in this collaborative learning experience.
