Joy Gahigana has owned and operated JUM Exclusive, a retail clothing shop for men, women and children since 2006. Mrs. Gahigana also offers tailoring services. Her hopes are to expand into the assembly of such clothes, which would allow the employment of local manpower - to be trained by such government programs as Vision 2020. During IEEW’s recent visit to Rwanda we realized that a large part of Joy’s business is custom dressmaking. She listens to her clients description, draws the garmet and creates it on her sewing machine. She is incredibly talented both in business and in design.
