Apollonia Kibukayire owns & operates Rwandan Heritage, a gift shop carrying traditional hand made gifts as well as corporate and personal gifts. The shop purchases product from rural women which includes genocide survivors and widows, positively impacting both the economy and provided hope for these victims. Apollonia hopes to be able to export to the United States soon.
Apollonia was mentored by Lynn Sparks, owner of Los Milagros Studios in Oklahoma City. While hosting two women from our program, Lynn organized an sale of their goods with an amazing turnout, helping the women to see what American shoppers want.
