Asma Ataie owns and operates BDS (Business Development Services) and Small Business Development company, teaching women business courses and improving their business skills is Asma’s goal. Courses taught by her company include “How To Start a Business”, “Business Plans”, “Management Skills”, “Business Management”, “Finance”, “Logistics”, and “Market Studies.”
Asma’s company started in 2006 with three partners: Society Empowerment Organization, ARD/LGCD and NSDP. They have 12 employees.
Andeisha owns and operates Afghan Child Education and Care Organization in Kabul.
This is a non-profit company founded in 2008 for the purpose of working for Afghan Children. AFCECO provides food, clothes and shelter as well as education, health care and help in finding them a safe environment in which to live by insuring that quality orphanages, schools and clinics are available.
She tells IEEW that she was inspired by “watching the people in her country bleed for 3 decades of war, knowing women and children are the first victims.”
Andeisha and her partner, the Child Sponsorship program (www.charityhelp.org/afceco) have 30 employees.
Razia Sajjadi and her partners own and operate Geo Map Company in Kabul.
She offers professional land surveying services to the engineering, real estate, energy, transportation and utility sectors. She has over 35 employees which include 12 charted professional land surveyors and surveying technicians.
Prior to this business, she worked as a mathematics teacher in Marefat High School and as the finance officer for Geo Map Company.
