CELEBRATING WOMEN.  March is Women’s History Month, and there are so many women to honor. This month is when all the world takes a moment to stop, reflect and celebrate all the many women who have sacrificed and scraped and soared so that we may work to succeed.
Of course, we here at The Institute of Economic Empowerment of Women live this way of thinking year-round. We celebrate women overcoming and achieving all twelve months of the year. It’s our ethos. Our way of life. Our path of being.
Last week I shared an image of the resilient women blazing trails in Afghanistan under the PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® banner. This week, the faces of global entrepreneurs in the halls of the Rwandan government grace this page. They are taking what they learned in Leadership Development here in the US and engaging with their government officials to make their voices heard. Our program aims to lift up these global women entrepreneurs wherever they live, to make their paths to success our path to success. I believe linking paths is the way of the future. Bridging religions, cultures, governments under a shared goal, to empower women, is what we’ve been doing this past decade and what we intend to continue.
From the victories of the past, through today at the start of Women’s History Month, and beyond, empowering women across the globe is our road. I hope you will join us in paving the road to peace, this month especially.
Now more than ever, the world needs the women of PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS®. Click here to follow and share our success stories on Facebook.
Together, We Are Paving the Road to Peace
This month, the 2017 class of PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® wraps up their in-country business training in Kigali and Kabul, empowering almost 60 women entrepreneurs to soar in business in Afghanistan and Rwanda. The ripples they make in our global economy cannot be overlooked.
By supporting our mission and their success, you honor Women’s History Month. Buy a ticket to our March 30th OKC Women in Sports event. Share this email with a friend. Or donate today.
Together, we truly are paving the road to peace, one woman at a time.
