The 2017 class of PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® kicked off in Rwanda two weeks ago on January 10th under the leadership of facilitator and 2014 grad Chantal Munanayire.

January 24, 2017

31 women from various entrepreneurial fields comprise the 2017 class of PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® in Kigali, Rwanda. On the first day, the women get acquainted with their textbook which leads them on the journey to a completed business plan.
OUR STUDENTS.  Three days following their sisters in Kabul, the 2017 class of PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® kicked off on January 10th in Kigali. This year was an especially meaningful start as we received a record number of impressive applications, almost double the amount of women we are able to accept into the program due to space restraints in Kigali City Hall.
Thanks to the overwhelming continued need for the business training PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® offers, we were able to bring together an incredibly impressive class of women, including a range of businesses from fashion design to film production, from boutique hotel to IT consultants. As they begin their third of ten weeks of in-class studies and get to know their American e-mentors, we will share their stories of success with you over the months leading up to July Leadership Development in the US. Their journey is the journey many women around the world in developing countries face. It’s valuable to take in and even more valuable to support and foster. Together, we are paving the road to peace, one woman at a time. Won’t you join us?
Now more than ever, the world needs PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS®. Click here to follow along as our students inspire on Facebook.
