Oklahoma Based CEO to Speak at National Women’s Conference
Dr. Terry Neese heads to Indianapolis to speak at NAWBO Conference
Oklahoma City, OK, September 2, 2014– Dr. Terry Neese, CEO/Founder of the Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women (IEEW) is slated to speak on two panels at the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) annual Women Business Owners (WBC 2014) conference this weekend, September 8th and 9th. Neese a past national president of NAWBO will be joining hundreds of women business owners as they speak about everything from the power of digital marketing to the power of investing. Dr. Terry Neese’s two panels are “The Power of Women’s Global Enterprise” and “The Power of NAWBO”. Neese will speak about the work that IEEW is doing in their PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® program and the economic, social, and political impact that educating women entrepreneurs in Afghanistan and Rwanda provides. As past president of NAWBO, Neese will be discussing the history and importance of NAWBO and the successes during her presidency. Those successes include: moving the NAWBO office from Chicago to D.C. so that they could be more involved in public policy, hosting the Soviet Association of Women Business Owners, which Neese attributes to her current involvement in the international arena. Lastly, Neese ran for Lt. Governor of Oklahoma during her presidency, winning the primary. Neese took pride in her ability to balance being the President of NAWBO, running Terry Neese Personnel, running for state office, and raising a family.
